The PMP Exam Preparation workshop is designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the PMI’s project management framework. The workshop covers both traditional (waterfall) and agile project management topics. The workshop fulfills the mandatory 35 PDUs requirement to apply for PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP)^® certification

In addition to fulfilling the 35 PDU requirement for PMP^® certification, this workshop helps participants get better and professional understanding of PMI’s project management framework to apply to their real world projects.

Workshop Format:

• 4 Days x 7.5 Hours of activity-based lecture sessions
• 3 Hours Self-Assessment Exam
• 3 Hours of application preparation and review (after the workshop)

Training Modes: The training sessions are held through the following modes:

• Online Training (through zoom) – By default all open-enrollment trainings are conducted online
• Physical Training – conducted for corporate clients on special request (cost may vary)

What is Pass Surety (Training + Exam Prep System)?

Pass Surety (Training + Exam Prep System) is a training package specially designed for those participants who want a one-stop solution for PMP-exam preparation at the lowest combined cost (of training, study aids, exam simulator, mock-exams etc.), with the peace of mind to pass the exam in first attempt. And if they don’t pass in first attempt, they will not need to pay the exam re-take fee.

Participants opting for this package receive the following benefits, in addition to the regular training:

• A proprietary question bank of 2000+ questions, covering all exam topics, and providing detailed explanation for each answer. The question bank provides adequate exam practice and preparation.
• 4 Full Length Mock-Exams: An exam consisting of 180 questions, to be completed in 4 Hours, simulating the actual certification exam. Test-takers must score 80% to be considered as ‘Ready for the Actual Exam’. If a test-taker fails to achieve 80% score in one mock-exam, they will need to attempt another mock-exams till they achieve the required score (80%).
• After scoring 80% in mock-exam, the test-taker may take the actual certification exam.
• Scoring 80% in mock-exam is mandatory for test-takers to avail the free free re-take attempt.
• First-Attempt Pass Success Rate: >98% (based on results of test takers from 2021 till date)

Pass Surety package is valid for one year i.e. the participants must avail the re-attempt within one year of completion of training.

Question: Is this an ATP approved training workshop? 

Answer: Yes. This workshop is organized in partnership with PM Training School- which is a Premier Authorized Training Partner (ATP No. 4804) based in Auckland, New Zealand. Under an agreement with PM Training School, PMI Islamabad Chapter uses its ATP license to organize the PMP trainings. Visit www.pmtrainingschool.com for more information about PM Training School. Question: Is this Workshop specifically for PMP exam preparation? 

Answer: Yes, the Pass Surety (‘Training + Exam Prep System’) package is a full-service PMP exam preparation workshop, which fulfills the mandatory 35-PDUs requirement to apply for the certification exam and also includes all necessary study aids to prepare and pass the exam in the first attempt. Additionally, the ‘Training Only’ workshop can be attended by existing credential holders (PMP, PgMP, CAPM, ACP) to earn PDUs for maintaining their existing credentials. Lastly, the ‘Training Only’ package can also be opted by participants who only intend to learn about project management but do not intend to take the PMP exam.

Question: What are the steps to getting PMP certified?

Answer:

1. Get the mandatory training
2. Fulfill the experience requirements

Question: How many questions are included in the PMP exam?

Answer: The PMP examination consists of 180 multiple-choice questions, to be completed in 3 Hours and 50 Minutes.

Question: Where is the PMP Exam conducted? 

Answer: The exam is conducted at Pearson Exam Center, or virtually at your own location (online proctored exam). Once your application is approved, you will receive a notification containing the link for choosing the exam center location and the desired date, or through proctored exam at your own location.

Question: What are the pre-requisites?

Answer: We break it down for you in three simple steps

1. Educational Requirements: 16 years of education (equivalent to bachelors degree)
2. Experience: 3 years (36 months) of project experience (being a part of a project team, working on a project)
3. Project Management Training: 35 hours of instructor-led training. The Project Management Workshop may be used to fulfill this requirement

Question: Is there an option for classroom based / on-campus session?

Answer: All sessions are conducted virtually i.e. through zoom, and not on-campus. Only corporate trainings are conducted on site.

Question: What is the exam cost?

Answer: PMI is currently offering 30% special discounted price for Pakistan. For candidates from Pakistan, the PMP exam costs a total of USD 393 (USD 284 exam fee + USD 99 membership fee + USD 10 processing fee). The regular fee for PMP examination is USD 575 (non-members).

Question: If I cannot attend the Training, after depositing the fee, do I get a refund?

Answer: Yes, in case you have paid for the PMP exam preparation workshop and are unable to attend the training, your fee will be reimbursed without deduction as long as you have requested for the refund at least 7 days before the start of training. Within the last 7 days (before start of training), you may get a refund after 30% deduction. You may also change your batch to another batch without any deduction.

Answer: PMI’s certifications are industry-agnostic – means that they are generic certifications, and not specific to any industry. You can benefit from this workshop while working in any industry – because the principles of PMI’s framework can be applied to any industry, and any geography.

Question: What study material will I receive as part of this training? 

Answer: All the study material will be provided during the training. This includes the slide deck and other study-aids. You will also receive practice questions.
